"The title begs the question, "What's the difference about your lens?" My answer: "Before I came to faith in Christ, I saw the world through a lens that was clouded by sin. Now that He has saved me from my sin, I can see the world through faith, hope, and love. My photography is a reflection of my faith in Christ, hope of heaven, and love for God and His creation."

Affirming an Evangelist's Call
Our Pastor and the Elders in Our Church affirmed my Dad's call to be an evangelist and prayed for him as well and for his trip to Israel.
Here's the video of it....

Time With God
I like to take my small bible, My Utmost for His Highest and a journal with me almost everywhere... The only thing I wished is that I had a small compact bible that had all of the Bible in it. My small Bible only has the New Testament and Psalms and Proverbs. Does anyone know where I could find a small Bible in either the NIV or NASB translation?

Guitar Player
I can't remember his name but he is supposedly someone really big or played with some big artists when it comes to African music. He was playing with some other people at CSUN one day and I got to listen to some African music. Really good stuff. :-)

Day of Silence
I'm sad to say that this was happening on my campus. Should I be surprised that they there were students doing this since it is a secular school. No. Though I kept my distance from them. Walked out of my way to get to my classroom just so I didn't have to get any literature from them. They need the gospel as much as anyone else does but I have to say I was apprehensive about talking to them so I didn't and got away from them as far as I could....

Me and my Camera in a Frame
Yes another photo of my camera and I. This time I pulled my visor down and took the photo while I was sitting in my car. My visor has a mirror so that's how I was able to get the picture. Looks like I'm inside a picture frame. :)

House- Trick with Camera
Just a house across the street from where I work but I bet you can never guess how I got the shot. :-) Any guesses? I'll post the farther away shot here for any of you that are curious. :)
These are two separate photos taken. No cropping one to get the other... Yes I zoomed in and got the above photo from my mirror in my car. And yes I was parked... :-)

Rudy Acosta was from Canyon Country. He was assigned to 4th Squadron, Stryker Calvary Regiment and served as a health care specialist and combat medic. He was killed in Afghanistan on March 19th. Was brought home and buried at Eternal Valley. I was able to watch the funeral procession as it made its way there. Our hearts go out to you Acosta Family....

My Dad, the Cross, and the Beginning of a Beautiful Sunset
I just loved how this shot came out. My dad admiring the sunset while he's holding the cross. Loved how it put my dad in the shadow so to speak.. Came out really nice. :)

Old Rugged Cross
03/23/11- Day 58 "Old Rugged Cross"
1. On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
the emblem of suffering and shame;
and I love that old cross where the dearest and
best for a world of lost sinners was saved
Refrain:
So I'll cherish the old rugged cross,
till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
and exchange it some day for a crown.
I couldn't help but hum this song when I saw that cross up on a hill at Masters College

Just liked how this looked after editing it in Picassa. :-) One lady likes to ride her bike to work so I decided to take a picture of it.

And the Rain Rain Rain came Down Down Down
Yes I'm making my title a line from a Winnie the Pooh song. Yes we got more rain on Monday as well. Not as much as Sunday but definitely enough. This was taken from inside my car parked outside the store I work at.

Rain Droplets
It was pouring buckets and buckets of rain. So much that it flooded some of the streets I take to get to work. Never seen it rain this much before and it was going non-stop.

Girl at CSUN
Yes even though it was my birthday I still had to go to school. Got there a little early so I spent some taking some photos. Got this neat shot of a girl walking towards the library. I tweaked it to make so only she was in color and the rest of it was black and white. :)

I spent about 30mins-1hr getting this photo to look this way. I loved how I got it to look sort of like a painting. Took this photo over at Masters College.

Psalm 121:1
I think this picture says it all. Doesn't really need any other description to go along with it. All I have to say is that my help comes from the Lord, Maker of Heaven and Earth, Creator of All Things, My Savior, Jesus Christ. :-)

In God We Trust
I took a picture of this dollar bill because of a friend from work whose last day was today and he is joining the army. He is a Christian but I couldn't help but feel some worry for him going off to war and all. I told him I would be praying for him. I kept reminding myself as I watched him walk out of the store "In God We Trust."

Griffith Observatory
From where I park my car at CHLA I can see the Griffith Observatory. Even though I'm a long ways from it, it's neat how my camera can make it look like I am really close to it. :-)

Undergraduates Preparing For Graduation
Today was part one of two days of Gradfest. Gradfest is one of the busiest days for those that are graduating. At Gradfest you purchase your cap and gown as well as a myriad of other things that you can buy such as rings, sashes, announcements, etc.... I was overwhelmed with everything there was to see.
