"The title begs the question, "What's the difference about your lens?" My answer: "Before I came to faith in Christ, I saw the world through a lens that was clouded by sin. Now that He has saved me from my sin, I can see the world through faith, hope, and love. My photography is a reflection of my faith in Christ, hope of heaven, and love for God and His creation."

My Dad, the Cross, and the Beginning of a Beautiful Sunset
I just loved how this shot came out. My dad admiring the sunset while he's holding the cross. Loved how it put my dad in the shadow so to speak.. Came out really nice. :)

Took this picture actually yesterday the 29th but since I wasn't able to get a picture on the 28th I decided to use this one for it. :)

Pink Flowers
These pink flowers I found while walking around CSUN waiting for a class to start. How beautiful are the things that God makes... I love flowers!

Old Rugged Cross
03/23/11- Day 58 "Old Rugged Cross"
1. On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
the emblem of suffering and shame;
and I love that old cross where the dearest and
best for a world of lost sinners was saved
Refrain:
So I'll cherish the old rugged cross,
till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
and exchange it some day for a crown.
I couldn't help but hum this song when I saw that cross up on a hill at Masters College

Bicycle Wheel
Just liked how this looked after editing it in Picassa. :-) One lady likes to ride her bike to work so I decided to take a picture of it.

And the Rain Rain Rain came Down Down Down
Yes I'm making my title a line from a Winnie the Pooh song. Yes we got more rain on Monday as well. Not as much as Sunday but definitely enough. This was taken from inside my car parked outside the store I work at.

Rain Droplets
It was pouring buckets and buckets of rain. So much that it flooded some of the streets I take to get to work. Never seen it rain this much before and it was going non-stop.

My New Computer
Decided to take a photo of my new computer on the day that I got it. :-) Now I could upload my pictures onto Facebook and Blog again... And my desktop would not be lonely anymore. :-)

Girl at CSUN
Yes even though it was my birthday I still had to go to school. Got there a little early so I spent some taking some photos. Got this neat shot of a girl walking towards the library. I tweaked it to make so only she was in color and the rest of it was black and white. :)

The Path Ahead.
I spent about 30mins-1hr getting this photo to look this way. I loved how I got it to look sort of like a painting. Took this photo over at Masters College.

Psalm 121:1
I think this picture says it all. Doesn't really need any other description to go along with it. All I have to say is that my help comes from the Lord, Maker of Heaven and Earth, Creator of All Things, My Savior, Jesus Christ. :-)

In God We Trust
I took a picture of this dollar bill because of a friend from work whose last day was today and he is joining the army. He is a Christian but I couldn't help but feel some worry for him going off to war and all. I told him I would be praying for him. I kept reminding myself as I watched him walk out of the store "In God We Trust."

Griffith Observatory
From where I park my car at CHLA I can see the Griffith Observatory. Even though I'm a long ways from it, it's neat how my camera can make it look like I am really close to it. :-)

Undergraduates Preparing For Graduation
Today was part one of two days of Gradfest. Gradfest is one of the busiest days for those that are graduating. At Gradfest you purchase your cap and gown as well as a myriad of other things that you can buy such as rings, sashes, announcements, etc.... I was overwhelmed with everything there was to see.

The Day My Computer Died.....
03/08/11- Day 43 "The Day My Computer Died"
Yes that's the reason why I haven't been able to post photos. I've been taking them every day but on March 8th, my laptop decided it was going to die on my mom. I had had it for almost 5 years. I was able to purchase a new laptop with the help of my parents who went in on it, as an early birthday present, and with some money from my grandparents that I got for my birthday as well. Yes I did spend some of my money to buy it but I was very blessed to have parents who wanted to help me purchase the computer. I was so sad when I heard that my computer had died that I had to take a picture of the top of the desk where my computer usually was.... It looked so lonely with nothing on it. It felt weird that I couldn't upload pictures for about 10 days... Just got my new computer today so this is my first picture uploaded from my new computer in fond memory of my old computer.

Joshua's Very First Open Air
I'm so glad I was able to do evangelism with Joshua and David. I was able to get photos of Joshua's Very First Open Air. It was at NoHo Metro Station around 12pm. Joshua read from Exodus 20 as I suggested and then from there went into the law and the gospel. I could see that people were listening even though his amp was a low. The message got out even though. He then read a passage from Isaiah after the open air as well. :-)

Santa Clarita United Methodist Church
Was hard to get this shot since it was late at night and I can tell that I need to figure out how to take better night photos. I just really like how the red pops out from the building every time I drive past it when I am coming home from work.

The Keyhole
There is no key for this keyhole because it is on my dresser drawers. Made to look like a real keyhole but this one is fake. Just like there would be a key to this keyhole if it was a real one there is a real key for us. That key is Christ and having faith in Him and Him alone as our Lord and Savior.

Molly Pearce- Senior Banjo Recital
I got to see a girl from Masters College play the banjo for her Senior Recital. She played the banjo beautifully and it wasn't all Bluegrass music. Although I wouldn't have mind if it was. :-D Along with the bluegrass she also played some jazz, classical, rock and even a traditional hymn. It was wonderful to hear her play. I could listen to the banjo being played for hours. Such a sweet sound and God was glorified through it.

Edelweiss
03/03/11- Day 38 "Edelweiss"
The song Edelweiss from the movie The Sound of Music pretty much sums up my day today. It all started at CHLA. I got to spend some time with a little baby boy. I was able to rock him back and forth till he fell asleep in a little bouncy chair. As I was looking at him and how peaceful he seemed I began to hum the song Edelweiss softly out loud. From the moment humming that song to him I couldn't get it out of my head and was humming that song pretty much the rest of the day. :-)
If you don't remember the song... Here you go. :-)

A VERY Tempting Store
Yes my store tempts me with candy. Tonight I had the pleasure of hot gluing skewers onto a ton of candy. I was very tempted and temptation succeeded in having 1 of them but since I now have to take meds for my high cholesterol I have to limit my intake of sugars which is going to be very hard for me with working at a grocery store. Sometimes if I'm a little hungry during my 15min break I'll grab a candy bar and a bottle of soda and have it just for a little snack... I know.. Shame on me. I'm going to try to stop doing that.... This was only some of the candy I worked on. We are giving them to the floral department so that they can make flower arrangements with them. A sweet and tasty gift for any occasion. ;-)

Out with Dad and the Cross
I got to go out with my dad today as he stood on a street corner with a wooden cross, preaching the law and the gospel to the lost people driving on the street.
